Drawings and export
Facades, sections, sheets, PDF, DXF and more.Your plan turns into finished drawings and files to pass on.
Try it in the editorViews and sections
Under Drawings at the top, or with 4, you find:
- the four facades north, east, south and west,
- sections: draw a section line with Shift + K, it gets the next free letter,
- the wall view of both sides of a selected wall.
Facades and sections are dimensioned: widths and openings below, storey heights with eaves and ridge on the left, sill and height beside every window, and the height marks of the storeys and the ground level (GL). At the top right you choose Dimensions: off, main (overall measures and storeys only) or all.
Zoom the drawing with the mouse wheel and pan it by dragging, on a touch screen with two fingers. 0 fits it again, + and - zoom.
Sheets
A sheet puts several drawings on one paper: floor plan, facades, sections, area schedule, electrical legend and text. Every drawing appears at its true scale. A title block adds title, author and a 10 cm check bar. As PDF saves the sheet at its exact paper size.
Export
Export at the top right lets you pick the format:
- PDF to scale or fitted to the page, with a check bar to measure,
- SVG and PNG as images,
- DXF for CAD programs,
- GLB as a 3D model,
- Plan file with the complete plan, to back up or pass on.
With an account you can also send the export by email. The recipient gets a link that works for a week.
Import and reference image
- Import a plan file under My plans with Import.
- Put a photo or scan of a floor plan under your plan as a reference image. Upload it in the side panel, set its scale with two points of known distance and trace over it. Opacity, rotation, visibility and lock are set there as well.
