Furnishing

Place furniture from the catalog, turn and adjust it.

The catalog holds furniture for living, sleeping, kitchen, bathroom, office and garden. Every piece has a symbol for the floor plan and a model for the 3D view.

Place furniture

  1. Pick the furnish tool with F.
  2. Search for a piece on the right or browse the categories.
  3. Select it and click into the plan. Next to walls it lines up by itself.

The placed piece is selected then: drag it into place, turn it at the round handle or with R. Another click does not place a second piece.

While placing:

  • R turns the piece before it is placed,
  • Alt places it freely, without lining up with walls,
  • Shift while clicking keeps the piece for more of the same,
  • Esc puts the piece away.

You also find furniture through the command search Ctrl + K.

Adjust

Select a piece with V. R turns it by 90 degrees (Shift + R back), the arrow keys move it by 1 cm, with Shift by 10 cm. On the right you change width, depth, height and rotation, mirror it or lock it against moving by accident. Many pieces have exchangeable materials, for wood or upholstery for example.

Several pieces

  • Drag a frame to select several pieces.
  • Ctrl + D duplicates the selection.
  • Group keeps pieces together that belong together, such as a table with chairs.
