Storeys, stairs and roofs
Plan several storeys, place stairs and put roofs on.Houses with several storeys are planned storey by storey. Stairs connect them, roofs close the house at the top.
Try it in the editorStoreys
In the Storeys panel the plus button adds a storey: empty, with the outer walls of the current storey, or as a full copy. For each storey you set the room height, slab thickness and height above zero.
- Alt + arrow up or down switches between storeys.
- Under Layers you can show the storey below faintly, to place walls exactly on top of each other.
Stairs
- Pick the tool S and the type on the right: straight, with landing, quarter or half turn, or spiral, for example.
- Click the foot of the stair, point in the walking direction and click again.
RoomPlanning works out risers and treads from the storey height. Width, turning side and landing are set on the right.
Roofs
B places a roof: gable, hip, shed, flat roof or pergola.
- Over the walls: click into the building, the roof follows the outer walls.
- Draw: click the corners of the outline.
Afterwards you change pitch, eave height, overhang and ridge direction on the right.
Balconies and terraces
The tool L draws balconies and terraces as an outline. Edges along the house wall get no railing, the others a railing of glass, bars or a solid parapet.
