Getting started

From a blank sheet to your first floor plan in a few minutes.

RoomPlanning runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to install, so you can start right away.

Try it without an account

Try it now opens the editor in guest mode. Your plan is then kept in this browser. As soon as you create an account, it moves into your account and is available on every device.

The editor at a glance

Left: the toolbar with wall, room, door and window, stair, roof and much more.
Centre: the drawing area with grid and rulers.
Right: the side panel with tool settings, properties of the selection, storeys, rooms and layers.
Top: undo and redo, the switch between 2D, 3D and drawings, search, export and the save status.

Your first room

Pick the room tool with R.
Drag from corner to corner on the drawing area, or type a size like 400x300 and press Enter.
RoomPlanning draws the walls and works out the area.
Press V, select the room and give it a name on the right.

Good to know

Every change is saved automatically.
Ctrl + Z undoes the last step.
Ctrl + K opens the command search, where you find tools, furniture and settings by name.
