Garden and electrical plan

Plot, outdoor areas, fences, plants and circuits.

RoomPlanning does not stop at the outer wall. You also plan plot and garden, and draw an electrical plan.

Try it in the editor

Outdoor areas

The tool G draws plot, lawn, paving, wooden deck, gravel, flower bed and pool. Drag a rectangle or type a size like 500x300, or click the corners of a polygon.

  • Each type comes with a fitting height and surface. You can change both.
  • Smaller areas lie on top of larger ones, so a bed sits neatly in the lawn.
  • A pool gets a depth and water.

Fences and gates

With Z you click point by point along the fence. A double click or Enter ends it. Posts and panels fit themselves in.

On the right you choose the style, such as picket fence, welded mesh, gabion or hedge, plus height and material. Under Gates you insert single, double and sliding gates.

Plants and garden furniture

Trees, shrubs, garden furniture and a barbecue are in the catalog under garden and terrace. You place them like all furniture with F.

Electrical plan

  1. Place switches, sockets and lights from the catalog on the walls.
  2. Add a circuit under Circuits on the right.
  3. Draw wires from symbol to symbol with E. A switches between a straight line and an arc, a double click or Enter ends the wire.

Symbols the wire touches join its circuit. The legend shows circuits, the number of symbols and wire lengths. Print electrical plan puts the plan on a sheet of its own.
