Sharing and templates

A plan does not have to stay in your account. You can show it, offer it as a template, or start from a template yourself.

Share by link

1. Open the plan and click the menu with the three dots at the top.
2. Choose Share and then Create link.
3. Copy the link. It is shown only this once.

Whoever opens the link sees your plan. If they change something, they get their own copy. Your plan stays as it is. Need a new link? Simply create one, the old one then stops working. Revoke link ends sharing altogether.

Use templates

The Templates gallery holds ready-made floor plans. Filter by type, style, number of rooms and storeys, and open a template with Open in editor. With an account a copy appears in your account right away, without one it becomes your guest plan.

Our example plans also open directly, the small house for instance. They stay unchanged until you change something.

Publish your own template

1. Open the plan and choose Publish as template in the menu.
2. Enter name, description, type and style.
3. RoomPlanning measures the rooms and makes a preview.

The template shows the plan as it was when published. Later changes to the plan do not change it. On the template page you can remove it at any time.
